The YMCA of Greater Dayton supports our Miami Valley community and neighbors.

We know that when we work as one, we can move people and communities forward. That's why we are committed to providing support to our neighbors and opportunities for kids, adults and families to learn, grow and thrive.

The YMCA of Greater Dayton's annual Strong Kids Campaign ensures that no one is denied the opportunity to share in the YMCA experience due to an inability to pay. Each year, thousands of kids learn to swim, play and compete in youth sports leagues, go to summer camp, learn new skills and make new friends at the YMCA.

SK photoYour donation to the 2013 Strong Kids Campaign changes lives. As a supporter of the campaign, your gift benefits children and their families by making YMCA memberships and programs available to everyone. For 143 years, our Y has been building stronger neighbors and communities in the Miami Valley. This past year, an increasing number of families in our community faced tough economic challenges and we have seen an increase in requests for financial assistance.

In 2012, the YMCA of Greater Dayton raised over $880,000 to provide financial assistance for thousands of families throughout the community. As the requests increase, so does the need for funds to provide these services. Your donation is an investment in our community and all dollars raised in our local community stay in our community to support kids and families.
