When will I receive the Parent Packet with information?

Emails with detailed information about our event will be sent to participant parents/guardians on the following schedule:

• 2 weeks before our event

• 1 week before our event

• 3 days before our event

How is the Strong Kids Triathlon timed?

The Strong Kids Triathlon is "chip" timed; each participant will have a timing band around their ankle instead of wearing a race bib as you would in a foot race. When they start and finish each section of the race, they will cross over a timing mat; this will mark their time. Times will be calculated from here.

For example, a participant starting last could still finish in first place if they had a faster overall time.

The swim is a "time trial' start, a participant will enter the water approximately every 10-20 seconds allowing enough time for the previous participant to be a safe distance ahead.

Where will timing results be after the race?

Our event will be timed by Speedy Feet in 2023.

When our event is over and after all times are ready for viewing, we will send out an email to all parents to view.

Are all participants eligible for the raffle prizes?

In order to be eligible for our prize raffle, you must be fully registered by July 31st. All prize winners will be posted at the beginning of our event.

How many trophies are given out for each age group?

At our 2023 event we will be giving out trophies to the top 3 boys AND the top 3 girls in each age group. After each age group completes their race we will announce winners at the Amphitheater by the finish line.
