Building Skills for the Future
The YMCA of Greater Dayton offers Motor Skills Development as one of its many youth development programs. The classes below offer kids a chance to develop their fine motor skills in creative, interesting, and fun ways.
“I CAN DO IT”
Fine Motor Skill development,Let us help your little one be Kindergarten ready! This class will help with their fine motor skills in a way that is fun and creative. This includes letter and sight word recognition, scissor skills, counting, and much more. Your child will make new friends and build relationships with other children while learning in a safe environment with skilled instructors. Ages 3-6.
“TODDLER TIME” Gross Motor skill development
Make friends, have a play date, enjoy structured play! This group session is instructional and will help your child grow socially, learn to share and follow directions. This class will help your child develop basic gross motor skills, color recognition, music skills (rhythm), all while having fun and making friends! Ages 1-3.
