Free 7th & 8th Grade Memberships at the Y!

Empowering teens in our communities!

The YMCA of Greater Dayton is proud to provide free memberships to 7th & 8th graders this summer, June 1st–August 15th, at all 12 of their Greater Dayton locations. With free memberships, these 7th & 8th graders are also given the opportunity to participate in scheduled programs and activities that encourage and teach the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.

Programs and activities at each location vary in their offerings of times and activities, but most locations can expect activities and programs including games, crafts, sports, service projects, character building, mentoring, teamwork and much more!

Signing up is easy – just go to any of your YMCA of Greater Dayton locations with your 7th or 8th grader – bring in a verification from their school stating that you are entering the 7th or 8th grade, fill out an application at the Y and you’ll be ready to go! The Y wants to make this process easy, so feel free to contact them with any questions you may have. The Y hopes that these free memberships offer teens the opportunity to thrive, grow and make our communities a better place.
