Let's Move!

A woman walking in the outdoors

Are you making time to move your body every day?
This is regular movement throughout your day unlike structured physical activity. We sometimes find ourselves sitting for long periods of time. I want to challenge you to move more every day. Rachel Hollis says, “when we move our body, we change our mind”. I truly believe that!

Just a few minutes of movement during your day can have a big impact. It can give you more energy, create positivity and get your heart rate up. You can walk a lap around your house, go outside and get the mail or take a lap around the block. Enjoy the sunshine (also a mood booster). Make a couple trips up and down the stairs at home instead of trying to carry everything at once. Play your favorite music at home and have a dance party. If you find yourself sitting for long periods of time, set an alarm to remind you to move. This movement can help improve your mood instantly and provides overall health benefits. Share a comment with the ways that you will start moving more in your day. And let’s start moving more!
