YMCA of Greater Dayton’s 'Y on the Fly' Mobile Summer Camp Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Riverscape

 

WHAT: The YMCA of Greater Dayton is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new mobile

YMCA van, that will bring summer camp-style fun on wheels across the Miami Valley. The “Y on the Fly” van will bring a mobile version of the YMCA summer camp experience to locations designated as “food deserts.” The van will provide the neighborhoods a YMCA experience including fun activities and healthy snacks to children throughout the Miami Valley. The YMCA, as well as the program’s sponsors, the PNC Foundation & DP&L, will be present to answer questions and announce this amazing new program.

 

WHEN: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Begins at 2:00pm

 

WHERE: Riverscape Metro Park: 237 E. Monument Ave. Dayton, OH 45402

 

WHY: Announcement of a program coming to a neighborhood benefitting the

underserved neighborhoods in Dayton. An exciting program/feel good footage

with several local Dayton partners.
