1 November 2021

The YMCA of Greater Dayton launches YMCA 360, a virtual fitness platform.

The YMCA of Greater Dayton is taking a leap into Virtual Fitness with their new platform YMCA360. This new on-demand and livestreaming service brings the Y experience seamlessly to mobile devices, TV’s, streaming devices and the web, and will be included with every YMCA membership

With YMCA360, pursuing a healthier lifestyle is possible anytime, anywhere. Members will be able to view and participate in hundreds of group exercise classes, youth sports training, well-being classes, cooking classes, view daily live fitness classes and much more. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!

When the YMCA shut down in 2020 due to COVID-19, the YMCA of Greater Dayton took a hard hit losing 30% of their membership. With the major changes that have happened since the pandemic started, the Y saw a need to bring fitness where ever people are most comfortable.

Dale Brunner, President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Dayton says, YMCA360 is a new investment that our Y is making to ensure that our Y members have access to the best YMCA program offerings no matter where they are.  Members can connect to YMCA360 through our website (www.daytonymca.org), Apple TV, Android TV and Roku to enjoy their favorite Y programs.”

While the 12 YMCA locations are where connection and community thrive the most, the Y sees this new platform as a way for people to workout when they are too busy to make it to the Y, or when they are on vacation. It’s a benefit that encourages healthy living no matter where a Y member is.

Beginning November 1st, all YMCA of Greater Dayton members will be able to take advantage of this new member benefit. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, the Y is here to help you toward your fitness goals.
