YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award Presented to Trotwood Supporter

[Miami Valley, OH 4/25/19] – The YMCA of Greater Dayton is pleased to recognize Barbara Glasper as the Trotwood YMCA volunteer of the year.

Barbara was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She's resided in Trotwood, Ohio for 36 years and retired from the Trotwood Postal Service Office. Mrs. Glasper is a proud mother of one daughter and grandmother of four. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Christian Education and has for two years now been a Care Pastor for The Point Church. Being a YMCA member for 8 years, her greatest joys include working out, volunteering, serving on the board, and helping the YMCA in anyway needed!

The award was presented during the YMCA's 148th Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton on March 14th. The event raised over $26,000 for the YMCA's Annual Campaign and LIVESTRONG at the Y program. The night consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
