YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award Presented to Xenia Supporter

[Miami Valley, OH 4/25/19] – The YMCA of Greater Dayton is pleased to recognize Jillian Drew as the Xenia YMCA volunteer of the year.

Jillian has been a member of the Xenia YMCA board since 2017.  In 2018, she volunteered for every opportunity that was offered including all of the special events and hard hat tours. Jillian also was a volunteer swim instructor with our Safety Around Water Week.  Jillian is also passionate about helping others live a healthier lifestyle and making sure that everyone has access to fresh food and produce.

The award was presented during the YMCA's 148th Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton on March 14th. The event raised over $26,000 for the YMCA's Annual Campaign and LIVESTRONG at the Y program. The night consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
