Red Cross Babysitting Safety Course
Prepare your future babysitter for success with the Red Cross Babysitter Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification course at the YMCA! Designed for youth ages 11–16, this blended learning program combines online coursework with hands-on, in-person training to build confidence and real-world child care skills. Participants will learn essential babysitting techniques, including child safety, feeding, diapering, emergency response and basic care for infants and children.
In addition to Babysitter Training certification, participants will earn Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification upon successful completion of all course requirements. This engaging course helps youth gain valuable life skills, strengthen responsibility and prepare to safely care for others. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
