Join the YMCA and partners around the world for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson on June 25, 2026. This powerful event brings together families, aquatics professionals, and community organizations across six continents to raise awareness about the importance of water safety and swimming skills.
Drowning remains the leading cause of death for children ages 1–4 and the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for children ages 5–14. Together, we can change that. This event is designed to equip young people with essential water safety knowledge in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

Participants will learn critical water safety skills while building confidence in and around the water. This event is open to all skill levels and emphasizes creating a welcoming space where every child can learn, grow, and stay safe.
