A.W.A.Y PROGRAM (Always Welcome At the YMCA)
When you join a YMCA, you become part of a national movement of 20.6 million members in more than 2,700 local YMCA associations. Because each YMCA is an autonomous, not-for-profit organization (and not a franchise), local YMCA policies vary on the use of equipment, types of facilities, services and programs.
At the Y, we are so much more than a gym. We are a family that cares for our members at home and away.
TRAVELING
Your membership to the YMCA of Greater Dayton ensures that you are “Always Welcome at YMCA”. This means that when you travel to another city, you can visit a participating YMCA as their guest, according to their policies. Please visit the member service desk before your trip and we can help find a YMCA family near you, or visit www.ymca.net for more information on a Y near your destination.
VISITING
YMCA members visiting the greater Dayton area may use their YMCA membership free of charge at any of our facilities for up to 14 days per calendar year. Membership and identification must be validated at the member service desk prior to use. Once validated, please check in at the member service desk each time you visit.
MY Y IS EVERY Y IN OHIO
The Y is for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We want to make sure you continue to be involved with the Y wherever you may live, work or travel. With our focus on healthy living, we want you to stay active and keep moving! Now we've made sure there is a Y wherever you are. So get out and explore Ohio, visit friends and relatives, and remember to take your Y card with you! Now that you belong to the YMCA of Greater Dayton, you belong to other YMCAs throughout Ohio, at no extra charge.
