YMCA Volunteer of the Year Award Presented to Englewood Supporter

[Miami Valley, OH 4/25/19] – The YMCA of Greater Dayton is pleased to recognize Carolyn White as the Kleptz YMCA volunteer of the year.

Carolyn not only serves as a dedicated Kleptz YMCA board member, but she also volunteers 3 days each week helping members with Parkinson’s Disease participate in the Y’s Rock Steady Boxing program. She also volunteers to teach new pickleball players every week in the Y’s “Beginner Pickleball” program.  Carolyn is a natural leader and her devotion to the community is unmatched. 

The award was presented during the YMCA's 148th Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton on March 14th. The event raised over $26,000 for the YMCA's Annual Campaign and LIVESTRONG at the Y program. The night consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.
