YMCA to kick off annual Move 2 Lose program

January 26, 2011HUBER HEIGHTS Formerly known as the Big Loser Challenge, the Huber Heights YMCAS new and improved 12-week program called Move 2 Lose will help local residents achieve their weight loss goals.
The program, which starts in early February, will allow participants to work out two times a week for 12 weeks, in a small group, with a certified personal trainer.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011The Dayton Foundation awarded $148,000 in grants to 10 Dayton-area nonprofits during the second half of 2010.
YMCA of Greater Dayton received the largest amount of funding $25,000 to assist in building a new recreation hall at Camp Kern, which will expand its indoor programming space for youth and small groups.

Mayor Ron Fisher said for a long time he's heard people say there's nothing to do in Huber Heights.
