Norbert Klopsch received award of appreciation[Dayton, OH 3/23/11] The YMCA of Greater Dayton held its 140th Annual Meeting at the David H. Ponitz Center at Sinclair in Dayton recently. The event raised over $19,000 for the YMCAs annual Strong Kids Campaign. The event consisted of a silent auction, dinner and a program where volunteers and staff were recognized for their contributions to the success of the YMCA of Greater Dayton.

Zipline attraction can cross Little Miami River, judge says

Wednesday, March 23, 2011LEBANON A judge has ruled against an environmental group that wanted to stop the expansion of a zipline attraction across the Little Miami River in Warren County.
Warren County Common Pleas Judge Robert Peeler said the YMCA of Greater Dayton did not violate a conservation easement agreement with Little Miami Inc. and also denied a permanent injunction barring the installation of the ziplines.
